After having been to the San Rafael Swell with some of you for the last two years, and enjoying the experience and the company immensely both years, I have decided to out myself.

My name is Tom Blair. I love Land Cruisers and I am no longer ashamed to say it.

For those of you who were at the Swell run this year, my brother, my dad and my daughter Kait were in attendance. For those of you not there, I was the best looking one in camp.

I live in Lehi, across SR92 from the IMFT plant, and have been here since late fall of 2006.

I work in Orem, UT at a mid-sized company named Moxtek. We make high end polarizers (think components for RealD 3D projectors, high end home projectors, etc.) and x-ray tubes, detectors, and windows. I won't bore you with the details. My job title currently is Project Engineer. But for the most part I work as a Sr. Process Engineer. I have two degrees from (hurts me to say it...) BYU in Manufacturing Engineering.

I have one wife (important to clarify in this state) named Tammy and four kids: Collin (13), Kaitlin (12), Kieran (7), and Eamon (4).

I currently own three Land Cruisers: 1996 LX450, 1982 FJ40, and a 1976 FJ55. The LX450 has some mods, the FJ40 is mostly stock, and the pig is mostly rust and holes.

In addition to my Land Cruiser habit, I also ride road and mountain bikes, skateboard, and snowboard.

My musical preferences are punk rock, psychobilly, hardcore, goth, some metal, and a lot of weird stuff that isn't easily categorized.

I am looking forward to meeting and interacting with more of you.

Talk Soon.

Tom

I have a leaky fuel tank (bottom is rusty) and a oil soaked, leaky oil pan, both out of my 76 FJ40 that I need to deal with soon.

Can these be simply taken to the steel recycler or will they need to be handled specially?
